Fully Prepared Cherry Duck Confit Meal

Spice brined duck confit, cherry gastrique sauce, brown butter butternut squash puree, and ginger vegetables.

*Choice between confit duck leg or uncooked duck breast is available (breast comes scored and ready to cook yourself with direction below*

Each meal includes:

  • 1 pack with confit duck leg
  • 1 pack cherry gastrique
  • 1 pack butternut squash puree
  • 1 pack of ginger vegetables

Wine Pairing:

  • Red - Pinot from California, Oregon, or Canada. Chianti from Italy.

Cooking Times:


Confit Leg - 15m in simmering water, than taken out of the package, and placed on a baking sheet with parchment and put into a 425 degree oven for 5 - 10 minutes, until skin is browned and crispy.


Breast - Let the breast sit out until thawed, season with salt to taste. Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees. Bring an oven safe sauté pan up to temperature on your stove top on medium and add in a small amount of vegetable oil. Place the breast fat side down, sear until golden brown in colour, and fat has rendered out (about 5-7 minutes). Flip the breast over so the fat side is facing up, and put your pan into the 400 degree oven. Cook for 9 minutes to achieve medium/medium rare. Let rest for 5 minutes before cutting into slices.
